Our Quality, Environmental, Safety and Health Policy is disseminated at all levels of the organization and includes DDF’s commitments to guarantee that the activity is performed with the highest level of quality, safety and environmental protection.
Since 2011, we have formed part of the TOGETHER FOR SUSTAINABILITY initiative. This is a global program supported by the main European players in the chemical industry, to assess, audit, and improve sustainability practices. Learn more: https://tfs-initiative.com/.
The program is based on third-party independent and continuous evaluation of a pre-defined set of criteria that is shared with our clients upon request. Evaluation is carried out via the Ecovadis platform and comprises four themes:
• Environment.
• Labor & Human Rights.
• Ethics.
• Sustainable Procurement.

DERIVADOS DEL FLUOR is committed to the fulfilment of the European REACH legislation for the registration, evaluation and authorization of chemical substances.
In addition DDF is member of the Comité Technique Européen du Fluor (CTEF), a sectorial group of the European Chemical Industry Council (CEFIC) representing the major producers and users of hydrogen fluoride and fluoride chemicals in Europe.
In our relationship with local authorities and our community our goal is to maintain constant communication of the objectives, achievements and environmental performance. The SSMA report (available for download here), reflects the most significant actions and indicators in this field.
Employee health and safety are a top priority for our company and we manage them according to ISO 45001 standards, under which we are certified (available for download here).
Our site is periodically audited for compliance with Directive 2012/18/EU, but our commitment to health and safety extends beyond our facilities: we incorporate external stakeholders to ensure safety throughout the supply chain. Product stewardship is materialized in the control and audit of our logistic and emergency response partners, training of our clients and collaborators, and participation in mutual assistance programs around the globe.
