APPLICATIONS
Sodium fluorosilicate is commonly used as an opacifier for use in vitreous enamels and opalescent glass, as a coagulating agent for Latex, in tanning pre-treatments, in zirconium pigments, in the manufacture of frits, enamels and ceramic colours, in wood preservatives and fungicide, as a flux in the melting of light metals, as an acidifying agent in the textile industry, in the pharmaceutical industry, water fluoridation and surface treatments, and as a concrete additive.
